Mirror bright crystals of cassiterite to 3.5 mm sitting on a quartz covered pale slate matrix.

A very fine example which was collected from the decline prospect shaft that was driven from Wheal Maid towards United downs, the project was stopped when the price of tin slumped in 1985.
