Drift Moor Consols, Sancreed, Cornwall.

Quartz and adularia matrix with compact fibrous botryoidal wood tin in various shades of brown mainly concentrated on the outline of the quartz crystals.

This specimen collected from a lode exposure in 2018 at higher Drift near the head of the Drift Moor Valley, probably the same lode that was worked for tin further East at the Nancoathan and Garth mines which all eventually came under the name of Drift Moor Consols.

Excellent for the locality.
