This cd contains a full set of Hamilton Jenkin maps of Cornwall detailing his notes & captions also showing named shafts, lodes and many other details. Over 340 maps & files of his personal notes on cornish mines, over 540 mb of information, zoom in on maps using photoshop or other applications. Will work on mac or pc. The maps are c 1880 and in the scale of 6 inches to the mile. They have been professionally scanned from microfiche at very high resolution so they can be viewed in detail then compressed to fit on CD. The images are in Tiff format and can be easily viewed using phot-shop, Quark express or other. A great complement to his books ‘Mines & Miners of Cornwall. Great for mineral collecting.
