This specimen which is from the collection of the late L J Bullen author and mining historian shows a matrix of mica and chlorite richly shot through with black cryptocrystalline cassiterite.
This specimen was collected by L J Bullen himself from a vein leader at the 770' Level on the 20th December 1939. The mine closed for the last time in 1941.
